TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read the Terms of Service below in full. If you do not agree to all of the terms, do not engage Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. for any home cleaning services. By booking any cleaning service from this web site, you agree with all the Terms of Service set forth below.


Confirmation

Booking a service online does not serve as a guarantee for a specific date and time. You will be contacted by email or phone with a confirmation for your selected cleaning service, date, and time. 

Identity

We do not allow our services to be booked on the behalf of a tenant, owner, or leaseholder. You must be the owner or tenant residing at the physical address of the location you are booking for at the time of request for service.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to cancel any service, for any reason, at any time. Cleaning team members have the choice to leave upon arrival if the home is in extremely poor condition, or they feel unsafe or threatened. If you book a cleaning service online that is misrepresentative of the state of your home, such as a cleaning up after a large party, the cleaners may refuse service on the spot or if after consulting with you, increase the cleaning fee if they determine they can complete the job.

If you fail to respond or do not communicate with us within a timely manner regarding information we need in order to complete the service(s) for which you have engaged us, we reserve the right to cancel any and all future services.

Photographic and Video Release

By hiring our company for cleaning services you agree to allow us to photograph and/or take video of areas of your home directly related to the cleaning services we provide for the purposes of documentation, training, and social media posting. By hiring our company you acknowledge that we may take before/after photos or video documenting our work in your home which may be used to demonstrate the quality of service we provide and posted on social media. No personally identifiable information will be captured in these images/videos.

Cleaning Supplies & Equipment

Upon request in the booking form, Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. provides the equipment and supplies required for the cleaning service. You will need to provide electricity and running water. If you would like us to use specialty products that you provide (e.g., stainless-steel cleaner, sponge mop), please leave it out and indicate this request in the special instructions portion of the booking form. We do not come equipped with ladders; we have extendable cobweb brushes that are sufficient to reach most first-floor windows, ceiling fans, and upper shelves. We do not climb higher than that of a three-step ladder (you must provide), for liability reasons.

Cancellation, Reschedule, or Unable to Access

We do not charge cancellation or reschedule fees. However, if you cancel or reschedule two consecutive appointments, we reserve the right to refuse future service due to your unpredictability. If, due to your lack of making the necessary arrangements, we are unable to access your home within 20 minutes of the team’s arrival to your home, we reserve the right to cancel the service and any or all future service(s).

Recurrent Cleaning Services

We offer recurring service cleaning options of every week, every 2 weeks, and every 4 weeks. We do not require that you must book services for a recurring frequency. You can book a one-time cleaning as needed if that is your preference. There is a discount automatically applied to the future bookings in a recurring frequency series based on the cadence, but no recurring discount will be applied to the first cleaning service in any recurring series. If you cancel or reschedule a booking under a recurring frequency series, your discount for the next booking will be subjected to change/removal according to its interval from your last booking.

Minor Children

We do not provide any babysitting services and will not be left alone at your home with minor children. For liability reasons, children cannot be left alone in the home, without adult supervision, while we are cleaning.

Team Member Health & Safety

We reserve the right to remove our employees from your home should the environment become unsafe or unwelcoming. We do not clean any blood, urine, bodily fluids, or human or animal feces.

Pets

We are a pet-friendly cleaning company. We do not charge additional fees to provide a service to a home with a pet(s). If your pet(s) presents a safety concern, Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. reserves the right to remove its employees from your home. It is your responsibility as the pet owner to properly crate or contain your pet while the cleaning team cleans your home. We do not assume any responsibility to provide management for your pets (e.g., feeding or walking) while we are present at the home cleaning. We do not assume liability for the health and safety of your pets. While we are very, very mindful and careful about your pets, you are in the best position to ensure their safety and well-being.

Moving Large and Heavy items

For safety and liability reasons, Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. will not allow its team members to lift or move heavy items or furniture over 20 lbs.

Items for Disposal

By default, we will only take out any trash that you have placed in the trash bin(s) throughout your home. To avoid throwing away things that are not trash, we will make no assumption of any other items you want discarded unless you notify us.

Arrival Window

Cleaning teams are allowed a two-hour arrival window to deal with traffic, parking, and other unforeseen logistical obstacles. Please make sure you select an arrival window with the understanding that the team may arrive anytime within that window to begin services. 

Satisfaction Guarantee

If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us within 24 hours to allow us to rectify the situation. Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. does not offer refunds, but does guarantee the quality of our service by addressing any service quality issue. We will have a team member return to re-clean the specific areas that were unsatisfactory.

If you refuse a re-cleaning, fail to complete a walk through with cleaners prior to their departure from the initial cleaning, or fail to email Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. within 24 hours of the conclusion of your appointment, we will not return to address areas of concern. We will consider the matter closed.

Any area cleaned will not be re-cleaned if re-soiled by the client, other members of the household, or guests of the client. Examples include, but are not limited to, taking a shower after the bathroom is cleaned and requesting a re-clean of the bathroom.

Services Not Offered

  1. Wall Washing
    We do not offer wall washing as a service due to the inherent risk of causing damage to the wall and/or paint. Please do not request that your professional wash any walls in your home. No refund will be given for declining to wash your walls.

  2. Professional Organizing or Decorating
    We do not provide professional organizing or decorating services.

  3. Ironing
    We do not offer ironing services of linens or clothing. We recommend consulting with a dry-cleaning service for these needs.

  4. Hauling Trash
    We are not able to take trash with us, but we are able to take it down to your garage, dumpster, or trashcan upon concluding the cleaning service. We do not haul, remove, or dispose of large bulk items such as furniture and other heavy or large items.

  5. Professional Carpet Cleaning (Stain & Odor Removal)
    We are not professional carpet cleaners specializing in stain/odor removal. Our cleaning services do include the vacuuming of carpeted areas.

  6. Grout & Caulking Detailing/Restoration
    Removing grout/caulking stains is not always straightforward. Often, tough grout/caulking stains require intense labor and harsh chemicals. Additionally, restoring grout and caulking to its original condition by manual cleaning is not always possible. Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. does not assume responsibility for the restoration of severely worn, stained, or mildewed caulking and grout.

  7. Higher Spaces Requiring Ladders
    We are not able to clean surfaces (ceiling fans, light fixtures, etc.) that are higher than eight feet from the ground and require a ladder to reach. Our team has extension tools to clean taller spaces that do not require ladders.

  8. Moving Furniture
    For the physical safety of our team members, we are not able to move furniture.

  9. Pressure/Power Washing
    We do not offer pressure washing of floors or patios or decks.

  10. Exterior Window Washing

    We do not provide professional exterior glass or window cleaning services.

  11. Tree and Plant Removal

    We cannot remove or discard of any trees or plants from your home. This includes Christmas/holiday trees, and old or dead plants.

  12. Mold Remediation

    We are not specialized mold remediation providers.

Valuables

Please safely secure fragile heirlooms or objects prior to the arrival of the cleaning team. Please advise if there are special care instructions for any furniture or object (e.g., picture frames, paintings). If you do not want our cleaning team to touch certain areas or objects in your home, please indicate this in the special instructions portion of the booking form. 

Direct Hiring of Cleaning Staff

When retaining Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc., you agree not to solicit for hire any staff member introduced to you by Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. for any home-related services. We invest monetary resources in training and screening to find quality employees. Hiring our current or ex-worker(s), and/or accepting side propositions, makes you liable for an employment referral fee of $5,000 if you directly employ (legally or cash basis) anyone currently or formerly employed by us within the one-year period prior to such employment.

By using our service, you agree to notify us of any attempts to solicit or accept illegal business; otherwise, attorney, legal, and miscellaneous expenses incurred to investigate and/or collect this fee will be added if this employment is discovered. 

Accurate Description of the State of Your Home 

When you book a service online, you agree to select the services that reflect an accurate description of the space and service parameters you are expecting to be cleaned, as outlined and offered in our service menu. Any misrepresentation of the size, status, or true condition of your home on the date of service will void your 100% satisfaction guarantee.

If the home is in bad shape (for example, with broken glass, mountains of clutter, trash on the floor, pink soap scum and mold in the bathroom, heavy grease stains in the kitchen and on the stove backsplash), we can most likely bring it to a livable/habitable standard. However, the end result will not be comparable with the level of cleanliness we can achieve in a standard home. Because of that, we will discuss this issue before starting the job and/or upon arrival on site.

Additional Onsite Cleaning Requests

If you request for the cleaning team to provide additional services not originally selected in your booking form, the services performed will be added to the final bill. 

Price Adjustments/Changes

Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. reserves the right to change its prices for the services it provides. You will not be charged any new price structure on currently booked services, but changes in fees may apply to future bookings.

Damage and Loss Policy

Clients must provide images of damage of both before and after the cleaning, along with proof that damages were caused at the time of the cleaning. All claims must be made within 24 hours of the cleaning. Our teams exercise reasonable care when cleaning. We do carry insurance for damage or breakage caused by our teams. We ARE NOT liable for damage that is caused by “normal wear and tear,” improper installation of an item(s), or artwork, collectibles or family heirlooms valued over $200 and/or that is not disclosed during the time of making the appointment. All surfaces (i.e., marble, granite, etc.) are assumed to be sealed and ready to be cleaned without causing harm. All legs of chairs and light tables are assumed to have floor protection and to be able to be slid without scratching hardwood floors. If we are specifically requested to clean inside of a hutch/china cabinet or wash dishes or wine glasses, the client agrees not to hold Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. or any of its employees responsible for damage to any article or component.

Some examples of these items/situations include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Carpet & Rug Snags - Carpet snags are the result of exposed loops caused by normal wear and tear, moving furniture, etc., which are snagged by a vacuum’s roller brush. We use professional vacuums that are set to industry standards (which cannot be adjusted). In order to limit snags or fraying, we will try our best not to go near the bad areas of carpeting/rugs.

  • Broken Blinds - Clients should be aware that there are some inherent risks each time your blinds are cleaned. Blinds will become brittle from daily exposure to the sun and aging, and strings/chords will weaken over time, resulting in breaks.

  • Old/improperly placed faucets and knobs.

  • Improperly hung pictures/decorations/mirrors - If these items are securely/properly attached to the wall, they should not fall when the item is dusted/wiped.

  • Artwork, Collectibles, or Family Heirlooms valued over $200 - These items are expensive and/or impossible to replace. In that case, we do not assume the risk of cleaning such items. It is the client’s responsibility to inform us, in writing, of any item(s) that fall into this category.

  • Woodwork, Vintage/Antique Wood Furniture, Unfinished & Furniture with Special Instructions, Special Flooring (such as marble, travertine, or bamboo) - Please let us know during your booking if your woodwork, wooden furniture, or vintage wooden furniture is not sealed or is made of another material other than actual wood. Please discuss your furniture care needs, with specifications per item, if they need special attention in any way. If you would like to supply your own cleaning product(s) for your specific piece(s) of furniture, leather furniture, pianos, etc., please notify us via email or mail of the preferred product(s) you will provide us with.

If any damage or perceived damage is noticed after the teams have left, the client must notify Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. in writing, with color before and after pictures attached, within 24 hours of completion of the service at contact@bloomingbubblescleaning.com of any problem that may have occurred at the address during that day and time of the scheduled cleaning.

In the event of damages caused by our staff we reserve the sole right to: a) request proof of the item’s value; b) approve or decline the repair service provider and/or to exclusively select the repair service provider and approve all work orders prior to the commencement of work; c) purchase an equitable replacement item and/or approve the purchase of an equitable replacement item; d) ask for 48 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and/or holidays) from the date of the damage to locate an approved service provider/replacement item; e) require a request from you to be made whole and require that our prior written approval be provided for services/replacements; you the client MAY NOT arbitrarily order, approve, and/or compensate for a service provider and/or purchase a replacement item; f) only reimburse or compensate you for fees/costs incurred by you that have received prior approval from us.

Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed. For this specific reason, Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. requests all irreplaceable items (whether monetarily or sentimentally valued) be stored and/or not cleaned by our staff. 

Once the office receives the notification, we will contact you as soon as possible. If we do not hear from you within the next 30 days, we will assume you do not want to have us resolve the issue and the situation will void. 

Credit Card Authorization 

After you have booked a home service, Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. may seek authorization of your selected payment method to verify the payment method, ensure the home service cost will be covered, and protect against unauthorized behavior. The authorization is not a charge; however, it may reduce your available credit by the authorization amount until your bank’s next processing cycle. Should the amount of our authorization exceed the total funds on deposit in your account, you may be subject to overdraft or non-sufficient-funds charges by the bank issuing your debit or check card. We cannot be held responsible for these charges and are unable to assist you in recovering them from your issuing bank. If you cancel your service within the 24 hours prior to your scheduled service date, this hold will be released within 3–7 business days. If your credit card declines a pending authorization prior to the date of service for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel the service until an alternate credit card is provided and a successful pending authorization occurs.

SMS Text Messages & Phone Call Communications for Service Delivery

We use email as our primary method of communication with our clients. When you book a cleaning service using our online booking form, you will be presented with a clear statement and a checkbox option to agree to opt-in and allow Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. to contact you through it’s employees or partners using SMS text message or phone call, should there be the need, to the phone number you provide on this Site when booking. Any phone call or text message would be for the purpose of coordinating, delivering or facilitating the service(s) of which you have initiated with Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. Message and data rates may apply.

If you would like to opt-out of being contacted by phone call or SMS text message by Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. for purposes of coordinating, delivering or facilitating the service(s) you have booked for, you may do so at any time by emailing contact@bloomingbubblescleaning.com or texting the word “STOP” to any previous message you have received. Please note: we will need to maintain at least one method of communication with you while you are an active client with future services scheduled. This is to allow for the successful delivery of our services for which you have engaged us to provide. If you do not wish to be contacted via phone/text message regarding any issues with your service delivery, we will default to email as the communication method.

Promotional and Marketing SMS Texts (Opt-in/Opt-out)

We do not send our clients any promotional or marketing messages via SMS text messages or phone calls.

Promotional and Marketing Emails (Opt-in/Opt-out)

You will not be automatically signed up to receive promotional or marketing emails. You can choose to opt-in or opt-out from receiving any promotional or marketing emails from Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. at any time by emailing contact@bloomingbubblescleaning.com.

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. you may opt-out of such communications by emailing contact@bloomingbubblescleaning.com or by managing your email preferences from your client portal account.

Phone Call Recording

In the event we need to call you, the call will be conducted in accord with Maryland State law by which phone calls may be recorded after all parties are made aware of and agree to it being recorded (two-party consent), and may be used for the following purposes: a) quality assurance and facilitation of service delivery, b) to defend ourselves from public reviews by posting a link for the public to listen to portions of, or all of the call, and c) to fight any chargeback claims you may file with your bank and/or credit card issuer.

Documenting of Emails/ Text Messages

All emails and/or text messages to and from Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. and/or our affiliates may be documented and saved for the following purposes: a) quality assurance and service delivery, b) to defend ourselves from public reviews by posting a link for the public to view portions of, or all of the emails and/or texts, and c) to fight any chargeback claims you may file with your bank and/or credit card issuer.

Booking Over the Phone

If you booked by phone, these terms are incorporated into your use of Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. service(s).

Governing Law

Any claim relating to Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Additional terms of service that are included in your booking-received and booking-confirmed emails that are sent to you at the time of booking your first appointment are incorporated into this terms of service agreement.

Blooming Bubbles Cleaning, Inc. reserves the right to change or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
